I know we had a simlar thread once on 606 - but i thought i'd restart this to see if we can jog some memories.
WE all know some of the obvious people who are missing from Not606, but how about some of the others that have gone missing and any anecdotes associated with them...

    The obvious ones first....

    A2C
    Vol (or is he?)
    Ducker (although maybe coming back)

How about some less obvious ones....
    Gloucester Ben
    Tatruth
    Dick Plumb

Any others? or anybody know where the above are?

Ducker is in the Lebanon or some other middle-eastern outpost.
A2C is stewarding on the festival circuit.
I thought Dick Plumb was on here recently???
Benny Hill is yet to be unmasked.
Vol may resurface in the form of a canape or a quiche.

If I remember rightly, Benny Hill got into a debate with A2C about letting his dog do a wee inside the ground. What was his dog called? A classic thread.

Gloucester Ben was an American guy who did Uni in Switzerland and used to fly over for many home games. He was a regular poster.

I'd assume their is pretty more chance in hell freezing over than A2C not making an appearance of some sort here, he loved it too much!

Whether it be a disguise or straight up his old username, i am sure he will one day lurk these very corridors yet again.

You really wanna know?? Well, I have to say I'm sitting on the fence! Half of me is putting all my faith in Chrissie Powell and his man management skills to get the best out of these better quality League 1 players and gel them into a promotion winning team. The other half of me is thinking that when Slater said that there would be "significant investment" in the first team squad, that we would be buying decent Championship style players that would make us automatic promotion favourites.

I have to say I hope that these signings prove their worth. CP was a fantastic No.2 and knows most people in the game, and I hope that he has been able to attract some real talent to our squad. Something that has been lacking over the last 3 or so years!!

    Fair assessment, NLF.

The players signed up have the talent and have proven their worth to previous sides; but will Chris Powell be able to hit the ground running with such a wealth of new faces? I am confident that he will. Having the pre-season at his disposal, the team bonding in Spain and the fact that he can in-grain his ideas on the players from the off can only be a good thing.
The slate is clean, the hopes are high and I really honestly think this season will be a good one for us.

    COYR!
