Just read, via the oh-so-prolific Facebook page, that a QPR XI beat Wolves 2-0 in a friendly. It doesn't mean a world of beans (I sound like an extra in Casablanca) but Matty Phillips scored twice (he needs the confidence) and Tarbs and Sandro Dee completed 90 minutes (they need the fitness). Like I say, not overly significant but a small ray of sunshine.
Really good to see all those players getting some game time in and improving their fitness levels, plus Matty Phillips notching up a couple of goals. Regarding SWP, in that season finale against Man City, I believe Mark Hughes played him for his defensive qualities.
