so what are peoples views on the £2m bid for the Perborogh striker? For me at this stage I dont want anyone from League 1 unless they are good enough to play in the Prem. Right now I think we need someone like the Serbian Internatiol we are supposed to be chasing, but that will cost around £8m. This guy has played Champions League and scored 2 against Borrusia Dortmund also scored the Serbs goal to get them to the World Cup and has scored 10 in 20 in the league so far this season. He seems to be a proper striker.

If CBJ doesnt play against Brum it is believed he is being sent back to Manchester, as well as Klich going out on loan to a top German or Dutch club. Think we deserve to know the facts behind these players as a proper International player coveted by top European clubs doesnt get a game in the Championship?

Lassoga is on loan with us paying a % of his wages but we dont know the details or facts, but Im guessing that Lassoga isnt liked much by Leeds fans who would prefer to see him go home

If we are buying a striker from the third tier Cellino is still pulling the strings or Rad is using the same rape the club business plan.

In other news I see the soft southerners were trapped in their houses by a dusting of snow yesterday, we have four or five inches here today and life is carrying on.

Chippy being consistent but he could be right if we dont spend a chunk of money between now and the Summer. If we dont it would mean the club have trousered the Wood money and the Taylor money which should be around £23m. Danny Rose move should also net us another £5m so we should have enough cash for some top signings to better/improve the team.

Dont understand the view that bringing in even more loan players who are kids from Prem top teams is a good idea. For me the whole idea of January window is to only bring in players that improve the team for the final push. Loan kids however good are for the future and too much of a gamble right now. Pennington is great but cant get in because Cooper has improved, but CBJ after an excellent start cant even get on the bench even though he has started for Man Utd and was their academy player of the year

Yep it’s time for the fans to be enlightened over some of the politics down at LS11, why do we buy players pre season and never see them on the pitch?
Lasogga clearly wants to be back home, fine let him fck off, no big deal, CBJ if his face don’t fit and not showing any promise again fck of back to the Salford yanks.
I have said it before we need a LB, a striker and that’s it for now, plus if any of the first team are shipped out then all want to kick off and give Radz a hard time.
Now for TC time, I for one are getting fed up listening to his pre and post match interviews, I thought Monk was bad but he is getting repetitive and to be honest boring.
We are in a good position and the best Xmas in years, they have a golden opportunity to add a couple of quality players and push on, all I can say is the fans deserve some loyalty back from the owners, let’s wait and see.

You say you are fed up of TCs boring interviews and yet admit we are doing well. What do you want from a manager? entertainment or team improvement.

Morning all. Here’s my take on potential transfers. Loans don’t work 99% of the time. Cheap option. End of. Didn’t we sign Lasogga for full season? If so, we likely can’t get rid of so might as well try get our 10k a weeks worth out of him. I’ll repeat myself here but this is the worst championship in a decade and a golden chance to get the hell out of it. Some club or clubs will make big January signings and grab promotion. Hope it’s us but I somehow doubt it

To be fair to Tommy he isnt our manager he is our first team coach. When being interviewed he gets a lot of questions about transfer targets, who is going out whos coming in etc, which is the norm. You will notice that he has a stock answer everytime which is “you need to ask Mr Orta” so the boring interview comes from the boring questions from the usual suspects.

Monk failed last year because he used 8 players in every match from Xmas to the end of the season. Seems like many like O’Kane were frozen out, just like it seems we have now. We can only get promotion if we have a squad who are capable of replacing team mates. Thats why Monk fell out with the players (Ayling interview) fell out with Pep Clotet and finished 7th. Interesting stat from last season: Best results as well as performances came when Viera and O’Kane were on the pitch together. Ext best stat was when these 2 had Pablo playing too. Thats not to say the same for this season but what have been our best performances and which players were instrumnetal

I'll judge Radz at then end of the next transfer window not this one as they've been consistent in saying they are not interested in doing much in this window.

Would imagine a couple of players will go and as long as they are ones we're happy to let go then I'll be happy (don't think either Jansson or Saiz will be going anywhere without incredibly silly money coming into play).

If there are players available that would not only improve the team but fit into current team and not upset the team then of course I think we'd go for them I just don't think there'll be any desperate shopping.

But this squad, manager, director of football and chairman (most in their first season in the championship) have set a target of a top 6 finish and after playing every team we're sat in 5th. After years of wanting stability and a common purpose at Leeds I'm happy to sit back and enjoy that.

dbc I cant see us going through a slump in form like we did earlier. I believe we have found our mojo and even winning ugly, so if we find our flair again too I think top 6 will be easy

Good graphic someone posted on twitter - I think Feb/Mar will be tough but I don't think we'll have the same slump and would expect us to start putting some more green towards the top of the table

Heyup Matt glad to hear you are on the mend, even though now on your 3rd ward. Fact is mate peeps just hate estate agents so expect to be relegated to pensioners ward soon.

dbc I can see Cardiff and Sheff Utd falling out of top 6 but Wendies under new manager, Villa & Boro steaming in, Boro may even get auto spot along with Wolves under Pulis, so we cant let our fighting spirit slip

Good Morning from a snowy white Bardsey
I am just getting over my hang over I had WJ and his lovely wife for supper and it was 2,30 before we called it a day!
Seems we are interested in the two boys from Peterboro Jack Marriot and Marcus Madison I like the look of Marriot who only joined Posh this summer from Luton and has scored 17 already this season.Posh have this habit of finding strikers Conor Washington and Asambalonga springs to mind The cost would be around £5m for the pair easily funded by Roses sale to MU
Still need a left back Joe Bryan fits the bill and Alex Macarthy from Saints to compete with Felix
Lets hope these deals are implemented early in the New Year and then we can look forward to at least a top 6
We need to be a complete unit by Feb because we will stand or fail in that month
I would only be too pleased to help out but I don't know how to set up things like tables etc Mike
