As this weekend's opponents seem to be going about collecting as many of our former players and managers as possible I thought I'd try to involve them in the theme (that way it's football related as well ). Any song you like, just try to relate it to one of our exs currently at Preston. Phil Brown, Brian Horton, Wayne Brown, Chris Brown (ffs how many Browns can one club have without them being related?), Ian Ashbee, and Leon Cort. I'll go first with one for Phil Brown: I'll leave it to you lot to decide whether I mean Carly or himself.
For Wayne Brown I would choose The Special AKA song 'Racist Friend' about his exploits with the Leicester players after coming into training after the last election and admitting voting BNP in a city that is rather well known for being multicultural and a team full of foreign players too - he was abruptly shown the door and ended up in another multicultural city of Preston - nice one Wayne!
For Ashbee lets go with Ocean Colour Scene's 'The Circle' as he rarely gets out of the centre circle. Additionally I know Ash is a massive fan of OCS too and he is mate's with the band so that makes it a double whammy!
Politics and racism is banned on here if your name starts with a D-e-a-n-2-4 you will have to guess who it is
If we're to listen to certain members of City forums, this should be apt for Brown Phil: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SMwZsFKIXa8
I remember seeing Ash at an OCS gig at City Hall, must've been about 2003. A lot of fans clocked him and gave him a 'theres only one ian ashbee' for good measure
There are a few Beatles ones: From Brownie to us - I Should Have Known Better / I Wanna Be Your Man / I Don't Want To Spoil The Party / I'm A Loser / I'm Down From Ash to us - It's All Too Much (It is for us as well...) / When I Get Home / You've Got To Hide Your Love Away From Us to Ash - Words Of Love / You Really Got A Hold On Me / Bulldog From All of The Ex-Tigers - You Know My Name / Come Together / Hello, Goodbye
One for filthy Phil. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8PJic1Nm_sA Jump, van Halen Also, should of gone to Specsavers.
