Agree Oddy. The problem the Tories have though is that any successor will have almost certainly aided and abetted the narcissist Johnson. They all knew he was a waste of space with zero integrity but turned a blind eye. Imo we need a new voting system but I doubt it will happen.Seems to me there is a global problem around the caliber of persons wanting to get into politics. We have a couple of shining lights here in Germany but typically, most places you look you have to think “jeez is that the best they can do?” Trump v Biden, Johnson v Corbyn, Macron v Le Pen just a few recent examples. Mind you, at least there is a choice unlike the “Putin or Gulag” choice in Russia
