I really fancy HIGHLIFE DANCER to oblige tomorrow at bath were he saw his last win under similar terms with the same jockey and runs with visors added he has opened at 6/1 so an e/w bet just incase good luck as usual
I'm doing an EW lucky 31 on 5 pretty big outsiders....'cough, donkeys, cough': 3:35 Bath - Nasri 10/1 3:45 Newmarket - Kakatosi 16/1 3:55 Lingfield - Dvinsky 10/1 5:35 Lingfield - Kastini 14/1 8:15 Haydock - Miss Lahar 20/1
What a cracking race it is though, wont invest much in it but will be great viewing! On quick ground i would fancy Chapoturgeon, the stamina will no doubt be an issue but aslong as he has a clean round of jumping like we know he can do then he will get my dough and hopefully he will be an each way price.
Yep. He gets his ground for the first time this season tomorrow. It's competitive but I expect he'll win. 3/1 would be a huge price and I'll most likely completely lump it each way if I can get that price. I know a lot don't bet e/w that low but I would be shaken to my core if he wasn't in the three and genuinely surprised if he didn't win. What do you think Wooly?
I think he will bolt up tomorrow, was lucky to win at cheltenham but has stamped his authority when at his very best at punchestown and is a class horse on these hunter chases- I shall be going for the straight win! and will be very surprised if he doesn't win tomorrow!
Opened up 11/8. Who the hell did that tissue for ATR? 11/8 is pretty short Fallon very keen on Duke of Perth tomorrow at Pontefract.
That race has one huge problem with regard punting in my view Uncle and that is Top Offer. This horse was once thought to able to win the 2000 Guineas, it did not work out In that race and he was only seen once after flopping in a listed race. He runs in his first handicap tomorrow off of 95 and he could very easily win this race on the bridle if he is back to where he once was, if however he simply did not train on after two and is finished he will come last. My view is that they would not have kept him in training unless they thought the ability once shown was still there. I hope he wins easily and he could be the greatest 3-1 bet ever, but none of us will know until about 2 furlongs out. I am not sure I have enough confidence to back him but I do know I could not back against him tomorrow.
Agreed, at 3/1 its worth a bet for me. If the chances of him being at his best is 50/50 we're getting massive value
The Stratford Foxhunters is a more competitive race than last year. That fact alone makes the 5/4 about Salsify look poor value. I am not saying he wont win but he proved himself beatable in the big one at Cheltenham and Tammys Hill has also turned him over twice this season (not when it mattered though). Worse value for me in the race however us Chapoturgeon. He simply doesnt get three miles let alone three and a half. If this was two miles four he would bolt up but it isnt. At the risk of getting shot down in the flames I would make the bold call that he wont make the frame and should be laid for a place. Mossy Joe and Tammys Hill are class Hunters but at 3s and 5s I really dont get tempted to take on Salsify. As they are the likely first three home the race screams watch rather than bet for me. As its always too tempting to bet though I would lay Salsify for the win and lay Chapoturgeon for the place.
Considering there were a few groans yesterday about todays card there has been a lot of head scraching keep it coming it all sounds good , food for thought !
Newmarket 15.45 Axiom ew at 12/1 (BV and WH) Bath 14.30 Daylight (No prices available, Evs tissue which would be generous))
