Bit of a game of football this evening here on the Wirral.
16/1 for a shock, 13/2 for us to get the best result of a drawer and replay, I won't mention the odds for a Spurs win.

It sparked my nostalgia for those heady days of cup glory just a few years back; remember, we beat Everton 3-0 at Goodison and we fought back from 3-0 at half time against Southampton to win 4-3. Well, this sums it up for you if you're interested:

Hang on ! Who is that fresh faced presenter running through the stats? I'm sure we recognise him :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Hope you all have a good day.

VERY EXTRAVAGANT spent a long time in the doldrums, before showing a bit more sparkle last time out, when a staying on third.is also some 14 lbr lower than when last successful 3 years ago,so if able to take another step forward today, can go well,at least e w..

wetherby,1 45:

quite a few unexposed types here, but the one with a good mark is bottom-weight LOUGH SALT.although not at his best for some time now,but that is reflected in his mark, which is 2 lbr below his last winning mark, and that win came here too.booking of paddy brennan catches the eye too..

lingfield,2 35:

a hot little race, with three of the four very closely matched on their hurdling exploits.but BASTIEN might just hold sway today,as he was rather outclassed in another strong contest last time out,but has some really good hurdles form from last season to his name.so,if he takes to fences, should have a future..

yes,not a bad run.

lingfield,3 40:

modest fare, and some of these are getting rather long in the tooth, but not so BIG TIME FRANK,who is still a good bit less exposed, and has run two solid races so far this season, only beaten narrowly last time out.hes gone up 5 lbr for his troubles, but should be competitive in this low affair..

Great to Goring One win the last at Lingfield at the ripe old age of 14 Even sweeter as I used to ride him (me on Goring Two - now retired is my Avatar) but also very good ride from a jockey at the other end of his career Rex Dingle and also banging in the winners too!! So pleased for connections!! Trainer now has only 5 horses and is 2/3 over the last week!!
