After many years walking the streets of Kingston I'll have a silly EW bet on Saxon King at Ascot today. 50-1, surely there must be a chance?

3.10 Ascot-Purple Love

Each Way @ 5-1 [888 Sport]

Is better than debut run suggested

My goodness, didn't know that. Guess I'm something of a Kingstonian myself, as I spent my 'teens and early 20s close-by, just over the bridge infact. Gets slightly complicated as, although born a couple of hundred metres from Kingston, my dad got homesick for the 'Smoke' when I was barely 3-months old, and took a pub in The Borough. Pub was then all but wrecked by the Luftwaffe in 1941, and back we moved to the Kingston area. Although it in fact it was Middlesex where he had the next pub, the postal address was Kingston, all very confusing. Yes, I've 'walked the streets of Kingston' too, many times. <ok> Apologies for the boring personal history, but it took a bit of explaining. :emoticon-0100-smile

Haven't seen any results, but I hope Saxon King runs, or ran, a good race at Ascot.

3rd at 40-1, I think. But got 60-1
