Autretot 4/1, 7.40. I've no connection to this horse but a good mate of mine has. He's told me they're definitely trying to win tonight. Down in grade is a positive and a third lto to Archie Perkins who has won since and is now 11lb higher reads well. First time on all weather a possible negative but I reckon this one needs a bit more give than it got LTO so maybe will suit. Enjoy your evening. Sorry in advance to SBC as I know this cloak and dagger third/fourth hand info riles the ol boy! <laugh>
Oh yes indeed. Never diss the I've been told info <laugh>

Copper Knight ran a solid race but just couldn't concede the 17 lbs he had to give to the winner. A few disappointing runs from some of the others in the race.

Albigna needed every yard of the trip tonight. Outpaced, she kept on well and just managed to get up. I assume we will not see her at 6F again and she is crying out for 7F now. Ickworth and Tango were both disappointing but Peace Charter ran quite well in third, by no means disgraced and well clear of the 4th. Ickworth and Tango were the big disappointments of the race.

Pink Dogwood was only 3rd, not doing a lot for the Oaks form. With the winner and second rated 107 and 106, this Pretty Polly looked well below its Group 1 status.

I havent any detailed analysis on why I fancy the selection in the last, other than the following, which I hope will help people realise I am a novice punter..and a delayed introduction to me joining the forum.
Whilst I am from North Yorkshire and close to several yards, I dont, and never will claim or pass on info, I've been at this for a few years, not many compared to my forum colleagues, but the times I have been given a 'good thing', 'cert', trying horse's etc etc, I have lost. And my friends have.
So..onto my analysis.. I've been studying results for several years, on a daily basis. I dont have a 'system' but I follow the following small stables, Madgwick and Littmoden. Just this last week I had a 100/1 winner, Miss Recycled, (£1 ew!) from the Madgwick stable. The jockey booking took my eye, Tom Marquand, on an apparent no hoper. So, onto tonight, De Souza riding for Littmoden..eh? Thays much of my amateur analysis, jockey bookings. So the 9pm tonight. On the face of it, the horse has no chance and may not even get out of the stalls...but, my reason for backing it is, I have seen Littmoden place similar no hopes in the lucky last for many years..with a fair % of success, either placed at big prices or winning. That's my play.

Oaks form murdered, Magic Wand is not particularly consistent but on her day she is far better than 106, Iridessa obviously improved for the step up in trip.

i took my kids along to newcastle tonight, spotted Matt Chapman there doing his stuff, told kids he had rep for being a prat but i was sure he was ok and would take a pic with us, until i approached him and he then pretended to be talking into an earpiece and turned his back on me, what a sanctimonious prick. still, had 2 winners so not a total loss hhaa

I felt at the time that Anapurna might have won that Oaks with a 110 performance. Pink Dogwood did a very poor impersonation of a 112 rated filly this evening and at 20/1 for the Arc she looks awful value.

I was trying to catch Chapman to ask him if On The Line was coming back but couldnt catch him, his camera man told me it was not.
Jim Crowley was very good with the public, was very happy to have a pic taken with people as he was in and out the weighing room.
