Good Luck <ok>

Ascot 14.35 Christmas coming early. Fortune De Mer at 11/8. VP80 please

Ascot 15.10 Well, I was about to post a VB10 on All Authorized at 4/1 but, having watched him in his latest chase run, he really does need to learn how to jump. He looked much better with new jockey Caoilin Quinn over hurdles lto so it's possible he has learned something and the rider may have something to do with it (can't say I was impressed with N F Houlihan based on that chase 3rd). If he has learned to jump (rather than drag his rear legs along with him over thefences), the new rider seems to have a better eye for a stride so may be worth a dabble ew if he drifts out to 5s or more

Chepstow 15.19 Reinado was a facile winner lto (could have won towing one of the caravans). Unfortunately he is best price 4/9 so not backable

Two each way bets at Southwell

5.00-Gressington....current odds of 40-1
7.00-Enzos Angel @ 33-1 [4 places]

Is chunky Dan trying to build an unassailable lead over WPM before the spring? Very surprised he has aimed Fortune De Mer at this race, can only be to mop up prize money?

I laid him at 4/5 in the run. Horse doesn’t want to be a racehorse, took an exceptional ride at Cheltenham to win.

Those bookie chappies believe he has done. A best priced 1/3 to take the 2025/26 crown.
A long way to go with the 2nd fav £1.2 mill behind with just short of £4k in his pocket. He’s only had 2 runners so far though. If Willie pulls in another 850k from one race in Liverpool next April he’ll go very close.
