    15:30 Ayr - Nietzsche

(Disappointed LTO 21-days ago in Hurdles Handicap at Newcastle. Returns to a (Listed) Handicap Chase and will be ridden by a more experienced jockey this time. Selection won this race last year, but has not returned to anything like that form this season. Danny McMenamin on board for the Brian Ellison yard. SP will do for me today. Strictly a speculative choice, in the hope gelding will improve on recent performances. E/W probably best option)

Darn it, could have sworn there were 8-runners in Nietzsche's race, but was mistaken. Ran a good race to finish third,, but ground got a bit softer than ideal for him. Much better on good ground. Winning favourite won very easily, however.

Glad to see Bryony Frost OK after nasty-looking fall. Horse galloped away OK too. <ok>
