Tom Segal must of been reading wednesdays thread. He's only gone and put up Educate. Roto will be furious!!! Last bit of 7/1 will be gone shortly.

Approaching, I think, 4 from home, Prince of Leisure seemed to go wrong and staggered violently to his left, right through the field, crashing into a brick wall that borders the track, with a ditch in front of it. Naturally the cameras stayed with the runners, and just before it cuts away, you can see the jock climbing out of the ditch, with the horse still in it.

Sickening pictures that ATR have said they won't show it again, but Prince of Leisure almost certainly died.

The ATR commentator has just said it's the worst kind of incident HE'S ever seen as well.

Note: just confirmed the horse has been put down

I watched it live Reebs and couldnt believe my eyes. One of the worst I have ever had the misfortune to see. The horse was euthanised too so the sickening collision head on with the wall surprisingly didnt kill the poor fella. The jock must be counting himself very very lucky to have walked away.

Very very sad
