    2:25 Brazillian Rose

This intriguing contest offers plenty to dissect, with key dynamics shaping how the race could unfold. Course form favors Brazilian Rose and Quandary, both boasting two previous runs here, alongside Callianassa. Meanwhile, the handicap adds another layer of complexity—Cloud Cover dominates, a whopping 11lb clear of Aramis Grey, with a further 10lb gap to the next contender on the weights.

Pace appears to be the defining factor. Cloud Cover's impressive victory at this course came off an evenly paced race, but today could play out differently. Shallow is expected to push forward and inject a stronger tempo, presenting a sterner test. Notably, Cloud Cover has undergone a wind operation since her win, hinting at possible vulnerabilities that may come to light under more demanding conditions.

Aramis Grey's lack of solid course form makes her a difficult proposition to back, narrowing the field's competitive chances. Callianassa warrants respect—she's run well since the Cloud Cover race and demonstrated that this handicap mark is within her grasp.

Brazilian Rose emerges as the standout contender in this lineup. Benefiting from a claimer onboard and boasting strong course-and-distance form in defeat, she looks perfectly poised for a race of this nature. The high draw could provide an additional edge, aligning her well with the anticipated setup.

    Brazillian Rose @ 10/1 EW

Really hard today.... even Sean Bowen doesn't have a ride. (what a jockey that boy)....

Anyway... a left field eway selection from me. PERFECT PART 430 Chelmsford

The favourite has already beaten it hollow, but 5th in a York Group 2 last season beaten 3 and a bit. More, its comeback run was chock full of promise. In an all age Listed race at Doncaster she was staying on really strongly behind Spycatcher (111) Iberian (107) Marshman (110) . As she is only rated 93 and actually wasn't even 3 until 12 days later. If you watch the race you will see how physically different she was to them.(half the size) She has not run on the AW however but I'll take a chance.

Jouncy may improve for being gelded and obviously the favourite has a favourites chance. I am certain if PP was trained by someone else she would be about an 8/1 chance and not 16/1 - 18/1... just a pity theres a NR, 2 places only.,

Don't use this Co-Pilot thing, as I seem to 'crash' it every time. <whistle> :emoticon-0100-smile
So am happy to keep using your own notes, Nass.
To be honest had to look-up 'idiosyncratic', as I didn't even know what it meant. <doh>

Well, I got the benefit of the claimer wrong!! Very disappointed by the ride, shame as the race was open for something to run to form,

Ran OK to finish 5th btn hd, ½, shd and ¾ at 22/1. Anyone paying out on 5 places <laugh>

The 40/1 2nd , Destinado, was unlucky, absolutely flying down the outside and, on that showing, should win a similar race

My eyes didn’t deceive me. They went far too hard early and set it up for horses coming from off the pace. Even on 18lbs wrong!!
