I see that yesterday, at Tattersalls, Swindon was sold for 175,000 gns. Cor blimey Chippenham must be valued in the billions then!!! And Calne might even be worth a few quid...although only a few.

I hope you are right. I have a double e/w with The Bog Bank in the previous race, 7/1 and 8/1.

    Good luck.

It took a good thirty seconds to look at the Newmarket July Meeting card and decide it was not worth assessing. Rather predictably Porta Fortuna is a short price to collect the Falmouth Stakes against six rivals but it is a bad race for doubling up on the Coronation Stakes.

I see that the Crisfords have won both the first two races. I was surprised to see them collect the Duchess of Cambridge but I was suspicious of the Royal Ascot Albany form and neither Heavens Gate nor Mountain Breeze was able to uphold it, although the latter reversed placings with the former; and the winner was previously a maiden.

Tomorrow is not looking good from a betting point of view at HQ unless I can find one in a handicap; and the easy ground at York and Ascot is off putting too.
