Surely Seddon has to win the opener at Ayr tomorrow in what looks a nice little race.finished behind galvin at the festival but getting weight. I dunno what to make of getaway trump. Bred to be a superstar has failed to impress me so far all be it in top company and he’s cost me a few quid. So seddon at a price.

I’m in the Getaway Trump punters club here.

An early perusal of the Ayr card has highlighted a few for me Equus millar in the second takes the eye also.

Could fancy a few tomorrow at Newbury

15.05 Festival Of Ages. Lightly raced progressive sort.
16.10 Space Blues. But looks like going off too short given the opposition
16.45 A hot contest with slight preference for Star Catcher (Dettori/Gosden partnership)
17.20 Fabulist. Beautifully bred, Gentle intro last year. (Dettori/Gosden partnership). That'll do

Good luck anyone having a bet

I am staying with Andrew Balding and Happy Power in the 3.40 Newbury

Decent enough progress at two saw him land a Nursery at Doncaster in good style on his first try at 7F. By Dark Angel, there could easily be more to come and although on 93 now, as opposed to 83 when he last won, maturity and lack of exposure at the 7F trip should see him run really well for his in form trainer.

He seems the one horse in the race who could have a shade of class to come and I feel he may turn out to be a 100 rated horse in time.

Not big odds at 3/1 but I'll be disappointed if he doesn't go close.

3.40 Newbury Happy Power 3/1

Just went through the card at Ayr for devilment...

1:50 - Seddon
2:20 - Champagne Mystery
2:25 - Myplaceatmdnight
3:25 - Fourth Brridge
4:00 - Ravenhill Road
4:30 - Midnight Glory
5:05 - Stop The World

No bet's placed, just something to do while it's slow going at work...<cheers><ok>

hi fellas!

ayr,2 55:

MYPLACEATMIDNIGHT boasts some serious form here, even though he might not have beaten much last time out,but he did it in style, and, over this new trip, could have some improvement in him..big chance..

ayr,3 25:

one horse,i like a lot is VALUE AT RISK.true, has to raise his game here,to repeat the dose of last years win,and isnt harry skeltons choice, but, off only 3 lbr higher now,is too well handicapped to be ignored..e w possibilities...

Typical getaway trump made it look easy. Btw have you seen the horse Nichols is punting out by getaway on twatter .

The Middleham Park Racing horse... it’s amazing that people are paying such good money for mares again. The mares program is coming on and looks a way of making money for some.

Fergal has a mare for sale who could be half decent. Unfortunately I’ve got some lovely windows to invest in this year so will be giving ownership a swerve for a year or two!

Well Happy Power sluiced home in the end. The claimer on the Queen's horse set sail early and seemed to steal a march but he was going 6F speed in a 7F race and the horse may be better suited to shorter. The pilot on Happy Power was satisfied with biding his time and he claimed the field with plenty in hand to score by five lengths. I thought he might be a 100 horse and the handicapper seems sure to put him in that ball park now. Life will be tougher but 7F is a sort of specialist trip and there may be a niche for him in something decent over that distance.
