One tomorrow who could be better than his mark of 58 on his debut in a handicap is DUKE OF DESTINY 5/1 Lingfield 4.20

Hello lads.

Haven't dipped my toe for a while but;

Keen on Possible tomorrow in the 6.30 at Tipperary tomorrow. No great secret I like this filly and C O'Brien also does.Infinitely better than she has shown so far,she has had listed entries for the last two weeks including the previous event, the 6.00 where Coolmore rely on After.I think she would prefer better ground but has won on it and being a Pivotal,it shouldn't be too much of a hindrance.

Possible ran a nice race LTO but was a little disappointing tbh and got into heaps of trouble in a small field.FB is a past master at that and rides tomorrow but surely even he can't mess up twice. In short i'm convinced she's better than 83 and at 4/1 is value to beat this decent field in a good little race.

Not mad about backing unexposed 2-y-o's in these conditions events but King George River appeals quite a bit in the next event on the card, the 7.05.Not surprisingly well bred,he won nicly at Gowran on debut in a maiden AO'B often targets. The collateral form of that race is more than solid and I expect a bold showing again tomorrow and more improvement. The Oxx colt has better form on face value, has more experience and is obviously decent but I was quite taken with this one and 11/4 is worth a punt. The stable has a good form line as to what is needed.

GL all.

I quite like the look of AYE AYE DIGBY in the 3.40 at Brighton. Consistant type, Hayley Turner on board, high draw. Thought it might have been a bigger price than 10/1

I'm afraid I'm going to have to oppose you both here, I'm a Dibayani fan, thought he was impressive on debut in running The United States very close and duly improved on that to win comfortably next time out. Think there could be a lot of improvement still left and I'm taking him to upset the ballydoyle favourite.

Also like Professor at haydock so a double on those two will be my play today!

EW singles, doubles and treble today.

Schmooze Muss 2.30 - should appreciate step up in trip.
Jeannie Galloway Muss 4.00 - 2 from 3 at Muss Gd & G/F of marks of 78 & 83 - on 79 today.
Aye Aye Digby Bri 3.40 - looks like its on a good mark and has a high draw.

Think I've yet to post a winning selection yet so one of these placed will be seen as progress!

Good luck one and all.

Hmmmm ... 14:50 - Lingfield - One of Fretwells - Hollow Lane at 4/1 - Unraced - In a seller - typical of him ... could be a good bet in a small , poor field ...lets see how the market shapes . It could well go off favourite .... good luck

I hear you BT, I (only) managed 2-1 on King George River, couldn't get the 11/4 and Dibayani now out to 10/3 so I may have to (attempt to) cover my ass with the forecast. Ekbalco99, also like Hollow Lane, still at 4-1, looks an interesting bet

Cracking card at Tipperary, got my evenings entertainment sorted :emoticon-0167-beer:

I think the form of Reglisse is quite interesting in that 7:05, though I could probably make a case for all of the top 4 in the betting

I see Foley is on board Reglisse and not Orgilgo Bay who finished 1/2l behind Dibayani lto, would that have been his choice or a matter of stable bookings?

Afternoon, pilgrims. Hope everyone is well.

Am very interested in the unraced pair that old boy Roger Varian sends up to Haydock Park this evening. Both are nicely bred colts, have plenty of future big race entries and the fledgling trainer is 3/3 with his 2YO at the venue. I really wouldn’t be surprised if he’s 5/5 by the end of today. RIBAAT (6.20) and TWARY (7.25) are the beasts in question.

Meanwhile, in the ‘lucky last’ at the same meet SNOWED IN (8.30) appeals each-way. He was a multiple winner last term as a juvenile and a perch of 70 doesn’t look particular excessive here. Since his last run on the flat Snowed In has form in 3YO Hurdles of –FP but this is better than at first inspection as he was in contention when falling 2 out on his hurdling bow and last time had the misfortune of his rider losing his irons after negotiating just 2 hurdles. At 14/1 he makes plenty of each-way appeal.

Good luck all.

Just checked and couldn't believe that. Can't see how 10/11 is value for those not alreadey on.

I didn't get the 11/4,only 5/2 with PP by the time I got round to backing it last night.

Afternoon all,

3 for me this afternoon and hopefully the same result as Wednesday and not yesterday.

2.40 Bright - Funcheon Vale - Going to give her another chance today, lightly raced and still improving with a fair second on LTO. Now 6/4

4.10 Bright - Siouxperhero - Made all on LTO but could be taken on by Dance For Georgie 15/8. Think Siouxperhero race better and at 8/1 and good E/W.

3.10 Bright - Crown Dependancy - My main bet for today. Won over 6F on debut last year before going on to run in C1 and C2 events without winning from a mark as high as 102. Has been mainly running over 7F and 1M lately but dropping back to 6 today from a mark of 79. Currently 7/2

Dex - didn't get a look until this morning but can't believe King George River was 11/4 last night after watching his debut performance - looks very smart. Can't be backing him now. Would like to be on him at 5/2 like yourself <ok>

Not for me i would have Mount Seymour and Multisure in front of him...but thats only an opinion..i was interested in the NR Grievous Angel who would have been an APPRAISE selection so i have taken a particular interest in the race.

good luck anyway.

Anyone else see the story that racing is set to be taken off Terrestrial TV screens for 20 days after York’s ‘Ebor’ meeting and won’t return until Donny’s St Leger meet in mid-September??? Channel 4 will move there Saturday coverage on both 1 & 8 September onto ‘More 4’ because of the Paralympics Games. A bit worrying and let’s hope this is a one-off.
