Seeing the French have an incredible three winners at Lingfield today was not a big surprise to me, as they have plenty of talented horses and trainers. Their turf season will shortly be getting into top gear, and these are my seven fillies to follow this year. 1. Rock My Love...unbeaten in Germany and now with Freddie Head. 2. With You...another Head/Strawbridge horse who when last seen won a Group 3 3. Soustraction...beaten in a Group 1 on Arc weekend, but was only her 3rd race. 4. Mission Impassible...Soumillon thinks the horse is smart so that will do for me. 5. Moisson Precoce...liked the way she won a maiden earlier this month. 6. Zonza...had a good 2 year old campaign 7. Spaday...though disappointed in last race still looked green.
Yes we know Maxime Guyon is world class but the double by Theo Bachelot could be career changing for him
On the Monday card, following three are also entered in the same race! Moisson Precoce. Zonza and Spaday
Poor run by Rock My Love, but decent 2nd place for Soustraction who made a lot of ground up after a slow start.
I don't know if anyone else read the piece on rp website about the change at longchamp where coming into the straight the rails have been moved in six metres so as to prevent hard luck stories at the finish of races. Did anyone see or have any thoughts on this?
Will they move the winning post or the start to ensure the distance is the same. Otherwise the hard luck will be "Another 10 metres and we would have won"
Zonza [20-1] & Moisson Precoce [33-1] are outsiders in tomorrows French 1,000 Guineas So only small each way on both
With You & Soustraction both run in the same race tomorrow [2.37pm] Up against an odds on shot, but they have a squeak so small win bets at 7-2 & 12-1
Mission Impassible Had two runs now and been disappointing. Each way chance only tomorrow at 8-1 [1.30 Chantilly]
