Think he’s the most exciting player we’ve bought recently seem to have the lot, needs to be starting games soon tho.

where would you play him?, I suspect we should be resting Clarke earlier if we are in a winning position, and him and Jobe are now fighting for the number 10

Jobe is very good but he's not what you'd call dynamic. In my opinion he'll eventually be fighting for Neil's role, not the one he's currently in.

Aouchiche's first thought is to attack immediately which throws the opposition into a slight panic because he doesn't allow them to settle. Jobe, for his advanced position doesn't seem to like shooting in the way Ekwah does.

He likes to be on the ball but that means he's often tackled or doesn't get his pass away.

If you gave Rusyn the choice I reckon he'd choose Aouchiche.

I’d play him in jobe’s role tbh mate as jobe needs a rest manager even said so himself or id stick him on the right as Robert’s isn’t producing as of yet. But certainly would be trying ways to get him on the pitch.

Jobe can sit deeper in the Neil role as well, we have so many good options now Uncle Tone will have to start rotating them.

This is being repeated so often it's becoming one of these 'fictional facts' imo.

Before I responded I just checked the Birmingham highlights.

He single handedly sets up Huggins, on the edge of the six yard box, which he completely fluffs.

He then sets up Rusyn for an unchallenged shot that hits the post.

That could've been 2-0 before we scored.

He puts in the corner for the winner.

I think he can improve but I wouldn't say he's not contributing.

think he’s got one assist all season?
That’s not good enough you just have to look at the other side and Clarkes numbers. Now I don’t expect everyone to be as good as Clarke but he definitely needs to up his goal contributions imo.

I agree, he is amazing to watch, but at times he needs to move it on quicker

don’t think it’s all his fault tbf, he gets no help on that side with the way Mobray asks Hume to go inside all the time instead of bombing past him and helping him out. Hume puts a lovely ball in too I don’t get him going into the middle at all.

Doesnt seem to make sense as Roberts nearly always cuts inside, it is funny that defenders know this also, but can do bugger all about it :)

It would be interesting to see how many chances he’s set up that haven’t been converted in to goals. He still keeps the opposition defenders guessing and gets them stretched. We be got some great options whoever gets the nod though.

I think that's fair, for me he's the more talented player and he works as hard as Clarke so the difference in output is open to criticism. Having said that he's great to watch and with the right player alongside him (Pembele maybe) he could become a weapon like Clarke is on the other side. He's got it in him.

Roberts is a strange one. Having a much quieter sesson than last and I was getting to the point when I wouldn't have minded him moving on. Then when he signed last week I was chuffed to bits. Great player on his day.

I don't reckon Tone will mess with the forward players after the Brum result and a 2 week rest. Adil will get his chance over the winter period when the games start to come thick and fast though, fully expect him to grab it with both hands and be locked into the team for the rest of the season.
