Hey guys I know its abit off topic but I noticed the board was just going through the motions tonight...

Theres a lot of good vibrations hanging about at the moment...
So this a thread for anyone who likes Electronic Music, inlcuding European or anywhere...

aha nah i mean like electronic music in general aswell, dance,trance,progressive,ambient even dubstep is acceptable (relcutantly aha) whatever floats your boats this thread caters for it......

This is an old one, from about 99 i think but when I first heard it I almost shat my pants with glee. Massive tune, Sacha played it at the Telewest arena, Godskitchen event in about 2002. Tremendous.

I'm going to refrain from posting on this too much as I'm a real electronic music snob and I'll probably piss a few of you off! Won't get started on Justice and their lack of musical development in 4 years, nevermind Tiesto or Deadmau5!
Just gonna say I've posted a fair few decent tracks on Shearer's eBar if you have a look through the archives and a few of the many music threads we've had in the past.
I used to be into French Electrohouse in a big big way, but have moved more onto techno now, it's the natural progression!

 

Anyway not strictly French or Electro, it's not strictly anything even though some try and pigeonhole it as dubstep! But anyway Burial has released some new stuff recently:
This video some has done also reminds me of Monkey Dust, which is never a bad thing (one of my favourite shows back in the day!)

EP is called Street Halo and it's £1.99 for the wav or flac files, £1.49 for the 320kbps mp3s or £5.99 for the vinyl on Bleep, definitely a bargain imo for his only solo release in 4 years.

Also iv been posting mainly trance tracks and although I like most electronic "stuff" ... I may self am mainly into french electrohouse and am starting to listen to alot more techno...

Aw jealous, I've got a Kaoss Pad 3, saw a Kaossilator Pro for £180 on cash converters online recently (I was looking to see if I could get any cheap audio equipment) and it was a toss up between getting that and an SM57 mic and a instrument rack stand for my uni work, unfortunately uni work prevailed! It's definitely a cool little piece of kit to own, trying to get myself enough hardware to be able to do live sets with or without Ableton and that is definitely on the hitlist.
I did see some Technic 1210s Mk2s for £300 a pair, so my credit card will get a hit soon either way!

I used to be into mainly Etienne de Crecy, Daft Punk, Vitalic, Soulwax, Boys Noize, Diplo, Kissy Sellout, Benny Benassi, Switch, Busy P, Fake Blood, Digitalism, MSTRKRFT, Mr Oizo, SebastiAn, Noisia, Yuksek, Krazy Baldhead and loads loads more I'm sure I'm forgetting right now! How about yourself?
