going a bit far..... the simplest explaination is not secret handshakers who control the knights templars treasure but actually the victorian old boys club that thatcher loved to rule.. i think now that some progress is being made on this everyone should be carfeul not to end up sounding like cranks...

a new inquiry requested and old one to be quashed suggests many villians will be finally exposed.

The masons are rife within the police. They all cover each other's arses (probably literally) when one or more of their own are up against a wall.

I'm assuming your masonry is our illuminati? Still don't think that is all true, just think it is power trying to protect power.

Don't be so quick to dismiss. The way the judiciary (Taylor excepted) were so quick to assist the police is a stone that needs to be turned over.

My lecturer man who was on the panel hasn't mentioned it... and he CONSTANTLY plugs anything to do with the case (so much that we now take bets on how long it'll take him to mention it).

Call it Freemasons, old boys club etc etc. it's the natural response to people in power when they screw up & think they can get away with hiding it.

"I'll help you hide your error this time & call in the favour when I need it" when it goes on long enough (a couple of hundred years of modern Britain by the time of Hillsborough) it's the natural instinct of all those in power to cover it up automatically; on the assumption that everyone else knows about your skeletons in the closet.

Unfortunately it takes events such as this tragedy/travesty revealed to clear the scum out but mark my words, it will slowly build up again amongst those in power until something else like this happens again, it might take 50 years but as I said those in power always believe they know best so if & when they screw up they convince themselves that the greater good is that they remain in power & that only happens when nobody knows they are incompetent.....cover up

A key point at the original inquest was that the judge instructed the jury to take into account the affect their ruling could have on the public perception of the services (inc. police).

Undoubtedly there was a cover up instigated at the top of law enforcement in the area and in the courts, at least, a reluctance to find two senior police officials (Duckenfield and Murray) guilty.

Just been on Look North here in Yorketstershireland that there will be legislation passed in january to alloe 're' inquests (and that going to happen now) in places other than where the original took place; so the inquests could well be in Liverpool.

That's only 2 months before Bettison retires and becomes virtually un-touchable.

He becomes untouchable re his pension and police disciplinary matters, unfortunately. but he could still face criminal charges.

BTW, again on Look Noerth, it was reported that the West Yorkshire Police Authority asked to resign because when the Hillsborough report came out, the "Man Who Has Nothing To Hide" asked west Yorkshire Police to pay his legal bill into any oncomming inquiries, and that he shouldn't be expected to be reported to the IPCC.

Doubtless he plans to "outspend" the prosecution into submission, as Alun Jones maintains Dukenfield and Murray did for the 2000 private prosecution, using South Yorkshire's ratepayers' money in a legal war of attrition.

Bettison's 'crimes' have already been revealed and the tax payers of West&South Yorkshire wont be conned into allowing their money to be used again to suuport the cause of the guilty as they were with Dukenfield and the others.

bascially its all balls.... its those in power preserving power no matter how they come by it.... communists in russia and china, african dictators like mugabe or robert smith, gadafe, sadam hussien, george w. tony blair... all the same really. when they get the powe rthe spend 99.99% of thier time thinking about how to preserve it not do anything good with it.
