I am absolutely DELIGHTED by this news. Technically, I think he is one of the most gifted QPR players of recent years: I've seen him beat players when he has no right to do so! Added to that, he has a work rate rarely seen amongst gifted players, who often rely on their skill to get them by. Plus he can tackle and he really seems to care.

Years ago, it was my namesake who got me hooked on QPR. Like him, Luke is the sort of player that young fans will idolise and try to emulate in the playground. He is nearly always one of my candidates for man of the match. With players like him, I start to feel we have a future.

The only negative? Why only extend his contract to Summer 2021? Why not 2022 or 2023?

I AM SERIOUSLY CHUFFED.

We were all concerned he'd be gone in the next window or two. Hopefully means he won't be and also hopefully means Eze staying too!
 
Rumours Kakay is extending too, but out on loan in January...
