Off Topic Free Weekend Then...

So with us playing last night we've all got two days free. What you up to? Surely you arent spending the full weekend on here?????

Getting over a bad head from watching in the pub last night staggered in at 2am, getting away from the wife because she's fed up of me moaning about last night, Got to cheer myself up I hate no game on a Saturday. TV and a curry tonight, I might go to park and watch a game see if I can find us a goal scorer. Sorry I sound miserable everybody enjoy

 

Been sticking some flooring down at my daughters new flat last couple of weekends. Should get it finished today, only the hallway left to do.

Hopefully she'll move in tomorrow & we'll get some space back.

 

Ye I was thinking of going to a local game. Does it feel this bad??

We have visitors from London for the weekend (including an Arsenal pass holder!!!) so off to Leeds and surroundings today, watch rugby tonight whilst getting sloshed, morning seeing the sights tomorrow before Sunday lunch somewhere and then drop them off at the station for the train back

 

Haha (not at you), I've been off since the end of January & been warned by the docs not to exert myself until I've recovered from an op I was due next week but which now looks like it may have been postponed so they can do my next two ops at the same time. Three months wait they're saying. Seriously fighting my principles & thinking about going private. The boredom alone stinks nevermind the Mrs demanding I don't go anywhere alone.

I was gutted when i went back on Monday i heard all the same old bullshit and bitching that i dont miss.

I was in the village pub last night (early fish-and-chips) and, questioned as to why I was leaving early, I was ridiculed and barracked when I said I was off to watch the game (via stream).

Today, I'll return in another hour or so and knife anyone who makes a piss-taking comment.

The Missus has begun Operation Tart Up for Jollies. We fly on Thursday. She's gone to some expensive Poodle Parlour for manicure, pedicure (plus several bonus cures. **** knows what else she's curing). Then last minute Cossie shopping, instant weight loss sessions, packing dynamics workshops, DVT prevention exercises, coping with jet lag seminar, etc. etc. etc.

Not a free minute between now and Take Off.


Me? I'll probably mosey on down and get a trim at 3.30. Barber's should be fairly quiet by then.
