Hernan Crespo is available (although is 37), maybe Drogba/Anelka will be released from Shanghai who seem to have an issue with ownership at the moment (although wages for these two would be massive and the chances of them coming to us minimal), Owen (always injured and is a Traitor)

Interesting thought. I always like Sinama Pongolle. But I am not sure any of these players will get the goals we need.

OR just see how well Yesil and Morgan do? bit of game time won't hurt them and you never know they might surprise us.

I think we don't have an awful lot of choice but to play the two youngsters. I'm looking forward to watching him play, it will be interesting to see if he gets on the bench tomorrow, doubtful I know.

What happened to pongolle I know a couple of years ago he was at athletico Madrid and was on fire at the start of one season then disappeared again.

Does anyone know if we are still allowed to make loan deals? Or is it only free transfers? ...

Think loan deals can only be made out to lower leagues. Or on emergency situation such as goal keeper injuries etc.

I really liked Pongo- felt a while back he had the potential to be a major star. Didn't quite materialise- but even as a youth he was pretty good at times.

I wouldnt throw the youngsters in to heavily to earlier. I'd play a fulse 9 ahead of them in the league I think.

I dont think the youngsters are ready to play regularly but I do think, we may see a bit of pacheco, and most probably borini coming of the bench agenst lesser teams to keep him fresh. I think the biggest mistake was keeping Joe Cole..

I think the lack of strikers could be a blessing in disguise. This may force Stevie to play higher or as the 'false 9' ....?

We tried to get rid of him...

We could still... France's window stays open until Sept 4th. Cole reportedly didn't go to West Ham because he wants to play overseas again. Several countries still have open windows. (hope they don't let too many flies in)

Looking forward to seeing Morgan, Yesiland perhaps even Ngoo and Pacheco getting the chance to fire some goals in.....

Im a big fan of the reserves and the youth so looking forward to this Autumn, a fantastic opportunity to sort the wheat from the chaff....

Bring on the young guns and see what happens

What really impressed me with Sterling and Morgan is the work rate and technique. Their control, touch and short passing is extremely crisp and credit must go to Segura and Borrell. Hopefully we can expect the same from the rest of the youngsters ...
