Free 'keepers

    With Pompey still being without a goalie on the books [I wish they'd try to come to some kind of affordable deal with Jaimie Ashdown!] I took a look at the PFA's list of free agents and these three 'keepers caught my eye.

    Ryan Allsop (age 19 - turns 20 on Sunday)
    Played under Appleton for West Brom reserves.

    Conrad Logan (26)
    Made 19 appearances for Rotherham in League Two last term and the previous season made 3 appearances for Leicester in the Championship and 16 for Bristol Rovers in League One

    Chris Weale (30)
    No first team experience last season but played for Leicester in the Championship in 09-10 and 10-11, making 45 and 29 appearances respectively



    Any more suggestions for possible players to fill the No.1 shirt?

    Carl Ikeme out of contract in the summer (whenever that starts). Long shot but might be worth a go.

    Weale is apparently a bit of a donkey. Leicester fans certainly don't think much of him.

    The England goalkeeper's jersey is Joe Hart's for at least another 10 years- so Tommy doesn't stand a chance .. <ok>

    If he is that good, Saints should hang on to him - especially as the equally brilliant Bart has joined Notts. County :1980_boogie_down:
