That's the problem, not our flaky defence - shambolic though it was yesterday. The players are simply not playing as a unit; it is indeed a free for all with each doing his own thing. Take a look at the average position of the players in the first half against Cardiff - What the heck was Schurrle doing back there so often? That's the one which stands out but it doesn't take a close study to see there is no balance to the side nor any discipline in players taking up their 'on paper' positions. Jokanovic says he played 4 x CBs on purpose, but just look where the four of them spent most of the first half !! Arguably they played in this sort of formation on instruction from the Gaffer; to (broadly) be on the offence. Having watched the highlights on FulhamTV it seems to me there is actually no plan they are playing to - instead they are doing their own thing and hoping for the best. As said somewhere on social media, "schoolboy stuff" - literally a free for all. And that is what Jokanovic has to sort out URGENTLY.
looking at those positions, it explains why Josh Murphy had so much space down our left. Gives an interesting perspective.
Given the lack of unity on the pitch at the moment, what do you reckon to Tim Ream publicly coming out with these comments about his team mates?
