Anyone take your fancy . just noticed Mamady Sidibe has been released from his sentence with Stoke , fair play he had a good few years with them http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11731/8763185/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=facebook I always rated David Bentley but another who wasted his talent it would seem.
bony have to be honest Bentley has been **** for about the last 4 - 5 years had a couple of tidy seasons early on, but never fulfilled his potential. IMO. Just seems very lazy. Not much on that list. I know he is about 105 but gallas would be tidy cover for 1 season.
I agree when he first started with spurs he was flying but just dropped away.Gallas a couple of years ago what a beast but then he wouldn't be going out on a free
Not a bad shout with Gallas. He has the experience we need and could offer decent squad depth. Maybe worth trying on a season by season basis if he would accept that...... and our wages.
Players I think had it or had potential (not including those who have retired or I know to have found new clubs already; Florent Malouda (Chelsea), Simon Davies and Mark Schwarzer (Fulham), Roque Santa Cruz (Man City), Yves Moyo and Danny Simpson (Newcastle), Simeon Jackson (Norwich), Simon Church, Noel Hunt, Alex Pearce and Jay Tabb (all Reading), David Bentley, John Bostock and William Gallas (Spurs), Marc-Antoine Fortune (West Brom), Gary O'Neil (West Ham) and Franco Di Santo (Wigan). Who I might take this summer; Simon Davies (not sure if he's finished with injuries however), Danny Simpson, Simeon Jackson (as a super sub), Simon Church, Noel Hunt and Alex Pearce, Bostock (subject to a trial), Gallas, Fortune and possibly Di Santo (if things got desperate) Realistically don't expect us to take any of these.
Some of the young ones from Man U and Arsenal could probably increase the talent in our U-21 squad...
