FREDERICKS IN BRENTFORD LOAN
Posted 10 August 2012 2:43pm

Ryan Fredericks has joined League One side Brentford on loan for the season.

The young winger, 19, signed his first professional contract with us in July, 2010 and went on to make his first-team debut in our Europa League play-off against Hearts last season. He made three appearances in total last term including two starts against Hearts and Rubin Kazan and as a substitute against PAOK in the Europa League.

Good to hear. He looked good last year in the Europa League and Brentford should be a good place for him to build up some regular football.

Pretty close to home, so it should be easy for our coaches to keep an eye on his development.
I hope that he appreciates the opportunity and takes advantage of it, as Caulker, Kane and Walker have with their own loans.
