I see he has moved to a Japanes team. Why did we ever buy this guy? Do you think it was just to appease us, e.g "big name" signing , albeit nearly past his best?
I think Lennon thought he would give us experience which we badly lacked. We do have a very young team. Sadly, it didn't work out. I wouldn't put it down as a big name signing because EVERYONE said he was past it.
I dunno if maybe he was signed on the belief we wouldnt buy Commons? I reckon we were going for Commons on a free this summer but Rangers bids for him kicked that forward When we then bought commons there was no place for him. Maybe?
