    he is getting there mate he traveled down with the squad, didnt make the bench, i think o'niell doesn't want to risk him just yet

    O'Neil said we need to be patient with him. We dont want to rush him back too soon, if his knee goes again his career will be over!
    When he does return itll be like a new signing for us. We need sombody to put them away, the amount of chances we missed today showed that!

    I agree Teesside. Lots of opportunities, no finishes. The worry for me is, Bendtner wasn't on the end of ANY of the chances created!

    I think so too. He is too individual without the ability. Know what I mean? He wants to be Brian Clough.

    Bendnter is pi$$ poor unfortunatly. Id rather see Wickham play than him!
    Bruce wanted to sign him permanantly this Jan for 7m aswell <doh>

    He actually played very well today, reminded me of Heskey.
    Just a shame he didn't have his shooting boots on today, but the same can be said of a few players today.
