I'm not concerned about mistakes I think that is misrepersenting the reservations over the player, I think he lacks some abilities that you like in a keeper ie distrabution, arial presence at set pieces and has looked slow to get down sometimes (I can also remember a few instances he got down to things very well thought).

His distribution is suspect but he is very young and will improve considerably. His shot stopping is excellent and his signing has improved the goalkeeping position so lets not worry too much. Now we just need a striker. What has happened to Rasmussen? Surely he could do a better job than Murphy and Sammy.
So speaks someone who clearly knows f all about football. He is a better keeper than Mcshagger was at 23 and he has done alright.
Not a great player but for £350k or whatever he cost he did alright at the start and scored a few goals which won us games..........and he can score penalties!!
Ras has had many opportunities to catch Neil Lennon's eye.

Quick google shows wiki says "undisclosed fee" below it is an article saying "Celtic bid £1.3 for Murphy" & another one saying "Celtic sign Murphy for £800k"
