    Has he been out injured? Or have they finally realised that someone who has barely played above league 2 level, no matter how highly rated, probably doesn't have the experience for the senior England set-up? No offence to Butland, I just think he's been hugely overhyped.

    Thats really good news for Fraser. I still think he is a fantastic keeper, and although I have always been more than happy with Ruddy, always felt he England potential, and should certainly be considered before Butland. Hopefully he and big John will have some chats about Norwich.

    Hope he gets a chance to play, but not before Ruddy!

    i'm a little surprised that hooper didn't get a call up, not that i personally think he'd be good enough for england.

    i think hooper will get a chance if he keeps scoring in the champions league as he has been doing. Christ he hasn't got much competition in wellbeck, defoe and carroll - to be fair defoe is on form
