Remember him playing for Norwich against us a couple of years ago ?- probably the best goalkeeping performance i've seen for many a year. Well, he's third choice at Newcastle, and wants a move for permanent football. Imagine him in goal behind the back four we've accumulated. ! Would be a great loan signing.
Think Celtic offered a few Million for him so a) I don't think we could compete with that price b) He wouldn't be willing to play at this low level again. I agree though, it was a very good performance, but I expect him to join a Championship/Lower Premier League side.
No more Goalkeepers for me Stu... We've already got Elliott and Sullivan who will be vying for the number one jersey. Then there's... Pope and Gough who will be hoping for a chance, should the first and second choice get crocked. After all, we can only play one GK at a time!
