Shame that we couldn't hijack this move. It's on a permanent not a loan too. Must be more than the £1.5 million offer they had rebuffed before.
Part of me would liked to have seen him come to Carrow Road but I also believe Ruddy deserves his chance and if injured Rudd to get a chance too. From what I saw on Saturday, Ruddy look pretty confident and 'up' for the challenge that awaits him this season.
Couldn't agree more, Thai, Fraser was brilliant when he was here, and I think he would have come back if Newcastle hadn't buggered about! PL got tired of waiting for an answer from them, and turned to Ruddy instead. I wish Fraser all the very best in his career, I will always follow his career with interest! Top man!
I feel that he slipped through the net too, Lambo obviously has faith in Ruddy and will stick with him. Hes a bloody good keeper but can t keep a clean sheet so we know we have to score at least 2 goals to win a game. The keeper was my only concern after our recent signings but Lambert stated that Ruddy was our no1 and we weren t looking for a replacement a few weeks ago so thats that i suppose. Oddly Newcastle are looking at R Green and they have a few good keepers already
I wish we could of bought fraser he is a top keeper I feel sad he has gone to celtic,I know we have ruddy but we could of had both but lambert knows what he is doing.
Its a massive shame we couldn't get him last summer and haven't gone for him this summer. In my opinion Fraser would have massively improved our backline. I also think him coming would have been better for Rudd's development too cos it would have cleared the way for a loan move- he would have learned more on a League One pitch than a Premier League bench this season! Still, ILWT and the day Lambert knowingly does something that is not in Norwich's best interests will be the day he leaves for a Top 4 club!
Ruddy looked assured the other day. I have full faith in him. Fraser is a great keeper, but I just don't think having Fraser and ruddy here works. Doesnt flow right, not the lambert way at all. I say good luck to him wherever he goes.
Me too beef, I have full faith in him too. So many seem to have got this impression that FF was far more impressive in his year here, (League 1, don´t forget) than Ruddy was last year. In my opinion there´s nothing much to choose between them.
It doesn't help ruddy that he has followed a keeper like Forster. There has been a lot of pressure on ruddy. It also didn't help that there hadn't been a decent keeper at the club between green and Forster.
