Rumours on OTIB, that Frankie Fielding was flown home yesterday with an injury. Bottom of this interview he missed Saturday's game due to back injury. http://www.bcfc.co.uk/news/article/cotterill-praises-city-response-2556799.aspx
So we're down to just 1 (aged) striker and no 1st choice keeper. Just as well the new season isn't just around the corner then
But look at the opportunities angelic for some unknown future superstar, hanging out in the bushes somewhere, to drop by Ashton Gate and turn us into a European challenger. On the other hand invitations for all of us 606ers to bring our boots down to the first home game are probably in the mail as we speak. I know Cotts will be disappointed that I have to decline the offer but I'm off to sea later this week so my advice to him is find your own players, but most of all find our players soon.
I spoke to FF as he returned home on the same plane as many City fans last night, friendly guy and was great with the kids etc, he confirmed he had a back problem but didn't seem overly concerned by it, he was travelling with his Dad (I think) and seemed relaxed about it all.
You must of been on the same flight as my mates son Ashton, he's load so if you met him you would always remember him
Loud, it's the bastard Greek servers mate Before any sado comments why I'm on here whilst on holiday, it's because any man who has a daughter knows that Wife + Daughter = spare hour to hour and half in bar on the Internet whilst they get ready.
SO an hour and half to get ready...then 3 hours shopping .... half an hour for a cup of coffee, good job they have got the net then!
Sounds like an ideal opportunity to sample some of the local brew. But beware - you may need to walk later
I see we've bid £750k for Daniel Bentley but Southend want £1million. Now Hull are in for him as well. Hope we don't regret not paying the asking price once we see Fielding in the Championship.
He has a growing reputation, but he didn't inspire me with a lot of confidence in the Play Off Final, even though they won
Fair play Angelic, he wasn't worth much that day. Whether SC bid £750k or £1million he must think Bentley's decent. I'm at least heartened to believe SC is looking for No1 Keeper.
Rp, FF not good enough for the championship, i'm guessing that's what you think, remember last season, you were wrong, very wrong, lets hope he proves you wrong again, we all know we need another keeper (not rocket science) but who say's he's looking for a number 1, young up and coming keeper like Bentley fits SC team building ethic, could be a no1 in the future, that's if we get him.
