Nice piece on Rob Bowley, Frankel’s handler. https://www.racingpost.com/bloodsto...-and-it-s-my-destiny-to-look-after-him/367221 Rob is such a lovely bloke. He’s so enthusiastic about his job and the horses, whenever I’ve taken people to the Stud he’s happy to chat away and answer their questions.
Nice article on the Racing Post website to relive some happy memories: https://www.racingpost.com/news/mor...cecil-superstar-frankel-crushes-rivals/164510
Eminent has also been sent down under. He’s been sent to Olympic gold-medalist Sir Mark Todd to train with a view to having a crack at some Group races ahead of the SH breeding season.
Personally i feel that's not a good thing, since his heart problem he's never been the same horse and i cannot see how anything has changed. The only good thing is Sir Mark Todd is his trainer so hopefully he will not run him just for the sake of it.
Don't know why the jockey felt it necessary to hit him 3 times in the last furlong though. Did he look like he was stopping?
I think Tiger Eye may have got missed https://www.attheraces.com/atrplayer-popup/VOD/1082298?showResult=yes
