Lampard has scored 146 premier league goals from midfield (24 premier league goals with West Ham and 121 premier league goals for Chelsea) and has 89 premier league assists, he has only scored 41 penalties out of his 177 goals in all competitions for Chelsea.

    Lampard has won England fans player of the year twice in 2004 and 2005 and scored 23 England national goals and has 90 England caps.

    This is definitely going to cause an argument - all Chelsea will say Lamps, all Liverpool will say Gerrard. No point!

    What a load of bollocks OP,mito's right there was numerous articles on the same subject on bbc606.

    The bottom line is its not what a player wins that epitomise's ability or worth.

    Djimi Traore won a Champions League winners medal Cantona never,so Traore is a better player than Cantona was?

    George Best never got to play in the World Cup finals does that make him a lesser player than all those that did?

    Would Lampard(had he been at Liverpool his whole career)have made LFC prem winners?

    During Lampard's time at Chelsea hes been an important part of a unit that have been good enough as a whole to win the honours they have,Gerrard has on many occasions almost single handedly won games for us.

    If Chelsea had managed to sign Gerrard a few years back Lampard would have been sold.

    Gerrard over Lampard for me.

    Lampard for scoring goals from midfield

    Both players have been fantastic for their clubs and both sets of fans wouldn't trade them for each other
