Would never have thought we would get him. From everything ive heard and the little ive seen it sounds as if we have got a (excuse the French) ****ing good goalkeeper. 9/10 Derby fans are saying he is too good for league 1 and should have easily stayed in the championship. Things are looking up lads. The signings so far have been exciting to say the least and everything coming out of the club is just as exciting, I for one cant bloody wait for the season to start and think we're in for a good un
it was either one or the other rod. We wanted them for number 1. Plus the reason they are leaving derby is because they don't want to be number 2
Fat Lady not singing yet - let's wait for him to agree terms - when he's having his picture taken at the ground I'll be happy
Our man is doing the business bring it on. Why are other teams fans expecting us to return at the first attempt as do the media, yet our lot are so doom and gloom. SOD will build us ,will better us,and will return us to the championship. Oh and other teams fans rate our gaffer, the future is bright boys and girls.
Well we got him for 200k. Sounds like a complete bargain! Strange how last season McInnes had 2 million plus to find strikers but couldn't find us a CB. Yet sod has got us a 6ft 6 centre back and a new keeper for 500k. Well done SOD and Co http://www.thisisderbyshire.co.uk/K...=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter#axzz2Wdwpaxh0
Part of the problem was simple Shiny DM looked at the injury stats on both Baldock and Davies and thought if he bought both they might make 1 Striker between them but by the time he had decided to buy them both he couldn't find any CB's worth signing for the money he had left.
Because he never had 2 million quid, how many times are people going to harp on about this. The season before we couldn't score so he bought Davies. Then West Ham owed us money for Maynard and wanted to off set the debt by offering Baldock before they could sell Maynard owing us more money on sell on clauses. Good bit of business for West Ham but we had the wool pulled over our eyes. So no money apart from a small bit paid on our part was handed over. Plus I didn't read anyone complaining when we got them both, everyone was happy on here. That was back in the days when RR was telling all other fans we were the dark horses for playoffs, and Mike was saying we were in a good place with an upcoming young manager. What a difference 10 months makes.
