There must be quite a few of us who are keeping in touch with what our old hero has been achieving at Watford! Its a realistic bet that he could have them up into the Prem this year! So its something of revelation to learn there is strong speculation he may be heading our way as Rafa's replacement!

I'm not sure how to take this , except he has Chelsea through him like a stick of rock and is a legend! What think you Chelsea folk?

my favourite player to have ever watched at SB. However, I think he should steer well clear of the hot seat as I do not want another legend being treated like ****!

Zola is my all time hero player, and unlike some of our current players, a complete gentleman. Not a sniff of trouble, a virtual non drinker, happily married, a man of his word, everything in fact that todays' players will never be.
He should stay as far away as possible from our toxic, dysfunctional, hedonistic club and enjoy his life in the game he, loves without the impost of megalomaniacs, sycophants and people of a significantly lower morality.
Love you Zola, stay the **** away from our club.

When playing at Chelsea Sardinian hill bandits took hostages, during the negotiations the bandits said they would only deal with Zola. He went to Sardinia and help facilitate the release. Zola plays concert piano.

I believe Zola was a prime mover in getting rid of both Guillet and later his 'close' friend Vialli. His mentor was Mad Dog Maradonna. He left Parma after storming off the pitch, throwing his shirt away, and declaring never to play for them again (Ancelotti was the manager).

Keep your bloody hands off! <steam> It's inevitable he'll be linked but like Drogs, even as a non Chelsea fan, I'd hate to see another throughly decent man treated so shabbily.

Df --thats a bit of an education for me! I suspected there was more to him than his football brilliance! You could make a movie about that!
