Off Topic France under attack

George Galloway on the Politics show late last night called IS a 'Death Cult' he's getting close but the better descriptive is 'Demonic Cult', based on 'Satanic verses', and the evidence for this is on a daily basis from IS. Islam is demonic to the core.............

 

The trouble with this situation in the period of Henry VIII (Long time ago by the way) is that religion was very powerful, and had the backing of the people, today is a completely different landscape, were in the UK for example religion has all pretty much fallen, very few Christians attend a place of worship, and 90% of Christian religious buildings have now been abandoned, or converted into Cinemas, Restaurants or Muslim places of worship, there isn't much christianity left in hedonistic Britain, and if you think that there would be much opposition to the destruction of religion in the UK, then you need to change what you are smoking Matt............

 

Beliefs even if you outlaw religion will remain and thats fundamentally thats all religion is Why must you think I'm smoking something ? just because my views are different doesn't make them any less clear and to be honest I tried it in my youth but I didn't agree with it , I'm more of a Jack Daniels man nowadays , nice from my hip flask on a cold winters day .

On hedonism, Phil.....I think the West has just outgrown the idea of organised religion. That's why the churches are empty. I genuinely think it's part of human evolution Unfortunately, Islam and its sheep-llike followers are about 700 years behind us as their religion is 700 years younger. A culture clash of epic proportions was bound to happen when they all came to live here. Islam doesn't fit at all with the democratic, libertarian life we enjoy.

 

We could do with some serious evolution from Monk tomorrow, if he plays any of his atheistic strategy then we are doomed I tell thee, doomed to the realms of pre biotic soup of the Championship, and all 'hell' will be let loose on him from the Crusading Jack Army...............

My son feels pretty much as you do, and he is hoping we lose, so that he is fired, he thinks Monk is not up to it, he wants an experienced manager in. I was talking to someone tonight down the pub, that stated that Monk has an arrogant side to him, and he can be a right pain in the arse, and he wouldn't be surprised if Monk had upset a number of our players?

"Sand rats" - the people who attacked Paris were (in part) from Europe.
"Islam is demonic to the core" - no it isn't. Terrorists are demonic to the core. In the same way that the KKK are representative of all Christianity. Muslims are fundamentally peaceful. Psychopaths that have Islam as a cause, are psychopaths first.

 

Shaper: Try educating yourself. It might help to know your subject when debating others.

This is a complex subject and calling people small minded when many, such as me, have studied the subject extensively, is out of order. It's pretty obvious you've never looked at the Qur'an or the Hadith. If I'm wrong I apologise. But also, if I'm wrong perhaps you can point to the parts that tell you Islam is not the problem.

By the way, there isn't a single post here that disagrees with your assertion that most Muslims are 'fundamentally' peaceful - even though I'm sure you didn't intend the pun.
