So Everton have taken the decision to sack Frank Lampard with immediate effect ... Marcelo Bielsa being spoken about as his replacement (this is not a joke) ... the other name in the frame is Sean Dyche ... Everton in a panic right now, they can't afford to get the next managerial appointment wrong

Maybe Leeds should offer them Marsch on a free!

No doubt the media will rally around their darling and put a positive spin on this development, blaming the Everton board and players and calling for Fragile to get a knighthood ... if ever there was a blameless manager for anything that went wrong, but absolutely responsible for everything that went right, Frank Lampard is it

Not sure who will give him a job next, he's not been great as a leader

I’d hate to see Bielsa go there - or anywhere else in England.

It would be like your ex (who you still liked and was a great shag) getting with someone in your social circle and having to see her all the time.

I’m not speaking from personal experience of course <whistle>

Bielsa, historically, doesn't jump in to a job half way through the season. Especially in Europe.

I'd be really shocked if it was Bielsa....but it definitely won't be him. They'll announce Dyche by the weekend.

For me and this point in the season as we've hit the halfway point Dyche seems to be the logical choice as he's done the relagation fight and he's free. There's also half of the Burnley side from last season are now at Everton.

The thing is do they want logic or do they want to push it and get a decent manager.

I say Dyche is the logical choice however I think there are 5 strong contenders

    1) Sean Dyche: Like I say he's the logical choice. Look at what he did at Burnley for years. He kept them in the Premier League on a shoe string budget for years.

    2) Wayne Rooney: The MLS season is over. He did the best he could at Derby with a hellish condition to work with. He's played for Everton before.

    3) Duncan Ferguson: Let's face it they roll him out everytime they sack a manager. Time to give him a chance.

    4) Steve Cooper: Not doing bad not a lot Forest. I reckon most of those players that were signed for Forest were the boards choice.

    5) Graham Potter: This does mean hanging around for a little bit. We all know he will be sacked by Chelsea soon. He's done wonders at Brighton and might give them the loft they need.

So has to be Dyche then.

Going to be some egg on faces around here when he keeps them up as well.

Maybe he will, if he signs, but it seems evertons problems lie much deeper then just a managerial change.
Their next 3, arse, red scousers and us.

Yep but didn't Everton beat Scum and Chelsea last season when they needed to.

They're not down yet by a long chalk.

We'll get them back to winning ways. We specialise in that sort of thing.

Carra said the exact same thing. They've had 7 managers since Moyes. Looks the Mohri is trigger happy.

I don’t think he’s right for us with our squad, but I think he’s a reasonable shout for them with theirs.

Dyche and Everton seem like a perfect match however he needs to hit the ground running. If they do go down they'll be down in the doldrums for years. I can't imagine that many of those players will be up for a championship battle. A good few of them will have a few years in the Premier League if they can find the right club
