Big news. I think it represents the faith the players have in Hughton, clearly Fox had doubts or he would have signed over the summer. He was always a Lambert favourite I wondered if he wanted to follow or was worried about the club without him, to me this says that behind the scenes the club is very settled and optimistic.

Great news! Anyone know if/when he's back from injury? If we do get relegated and maybe lose a few of our more well known midfielders, I'd imagine we'd keep hold of him and he'd have a big impact in the championship, so excellent news.

I am chuffed with this. I thought he was going to be the first one to follow Lambert. Love the guy, top player and not many teams have a midfielder with his passing range and vision. Portsmouth promotion game, the goal is prime example of his ability.

Excellent great player our mid field is so strong now, good to have strength in depth as our resolve could be tested by some of the top 6 clubs in the next window if we get some repeats of the Spurs match

Im not entirely sure where he'd fit in the midfield at the moment? Good news though. Especially because before the final pre-season game my mate saw him a a golf club and said "i thought you'd be playing today" to which Fox replied "yeah, so did I" in a rather pissd off tone.

Just got back from the england game and really chuffed about this! If only we had someone like him instead of cleverly... but thats a different issue

I almost forgot that he came third in our Player of the Year last season as well. Great player, makes us tick when he's on his game (which is more often than not) so I agree this is fantastic news <ok>

Best eye for a pass - short or long, since Ian Crook.
Excellent to hear he has committed to the club for longer <ok>
