Hi All trust you are all well, announced today that David Fox is training with Col.U, hopefully we can tie him to a contract, what do you guys think, good signing or not.
...or had he been good enough to have been playing regularly last season. He's not the same player we had when we were promoted or even in our first season in the PL, the fact only a struggling third tier are the only club currently interested in him must suggest thus. Don't get me wrong I was a massive fan of Foxy, loved him dictating play from the middle and would love him to be able to do it again, however for whatever reason (his glandular fever probably the main one) those days are no longer and I wish him all the very best in trying to play as much football as he can.
Being serious, he was a great player for us. He made our team tick in the championship promotion season and if he can recapture any of that form for you lot he'll be a real asset. I'll never forget that beautiful pass to Simeon that got us promoted!
Such a shame what happened to him, whatever the cause was - glandular fever, or having far too much vision for Hughton's brand of anti-football. Really hope he can get his mojo back.
Really happy for him. With his recent lack of games and match fitness I began to fear that he would drift out of league football which would have been a shame. Hope he gets his fitness levels up to justify a contract extension.
Hope he gets back playing games, what a player he was for us in the championship the year we went up. Happy memories!
