Pearson looks to Rosenior: http://www.thisishullandeastriding.co.uk/story-16226488-detail/story.html? If we reject bids for him then I wonder if he'll run out of players to try and raid us for.
Just been reading that before you put it on. I don't care what anyone says, Rosenoir or any City player will not be playing for Leicester next season, unless it's Dawson, Garcia, McShane or Harper
Just wondering why you think this. They would get more money, a longer contract. I would say a better chance at promotion too. Not that that's a good thing.
They can have McLean I think he means because the Allams will refuse to sell to Leicester, not because the players wouldn't want to go.
Right ok. I wonder why all the cost cutting behind the scenes (if that's the reason people have left) if they are to not sell some players. Fair play to them not selling though.
Yes we do, I'm getting impatient now. I feel like we are vulnerable right now, theres no body to protect our players. Even though the allams say they won't accept any offers they might change their mind at any time we need a manager to fight to keep his team/our team together.
We'll have Bruce by the end of this week, next week at the latest. It might be Mick but my gut feeling is Bruce. Either would make me REALLY happy though and would mark a massive step up for City. The Allams will not sell anyone decent we have to Leicester. The new manager will have enough money to spend to strengthen the team. The players are almost all on holiday, a large group of them in Vegas. Once they return, they'll be coming back to a manager and will start working. We'll start off next season in the best shape we've been in since I can remember. Next season will see us top 6 for the majority of the time and I expect us to get an auto promotion and to be in a situation whereby we can cope properly with promotion, I understand why people feel the need to know everything, right now dammit, and I also understand not everyone, especially on here, shares my optimistic view of things but the comments above are my gut feelings based on what I've read and what I think the intent of our owners is. The future is bright, the future is black n amber.
I'm gunna copy this post and pop it on my desktop, then everytime I read one of "Their" posts (you know who I mean) I'll just read this post and things won't seem as bad!
Nice to read a bit of optimism from time to time I wouldn't be keen on Bruce though. I mean, he'd be a real coup, but he has a record of buggering off the second he gets a sniff of a better offer. He'd be gone by September when the first Premier League manager was sacked ridiculously early. McCarthy gets my vote.
Cmon Strov, glass half full fella Not as is we're wondering why the gates to the ground have been locked and if we could get away with offing Lloyd!
you would think boring boring nige would of got the message by now , clearly just a plot to unsettle the player and force any transfer through , and as rosenior appears to be quite settled in hull i see this one failing badly as well .
This one will be different because he is entering the last year of his contract and is re-contractable (arguably unlike Koren). This is where the managerial appointment is so important. If the Allams get it wrong, the likes of Rosenior will look to run their contracts down or make a transfer request. Then the Allams have a difficult decision. Having said that, if I was a Leicesteristan fan I'd be worried about Pearson's seeming obsession with our players. Firstly, sureley his much vaunted "Management Team" can source as good if not better players elsewhere, and yet his first choices always seem to be ours? Sign of a bitter and twisted man, I think. But also when he fails time and time again to get his "First Choices" surely that undermines his reputation with his players and owners. Sign of a stubborn man, a "Bite your Nose off to spite your face" type of man.
Old Nigel is a tad obsessed with us isn't he? Good job the club doesn't own a bunny rabbit cos I think it would be in a pot on the stove by now :/
Better chance like they did last season? They started off one of the teams that the pundits said would be up there and even with Pearson back in charge they failed.
