Four of the bottom five meet Whilst the title race is a two horse affair the race to avoid the drop is far more competitive with four of the bottom five meeting on saturday. Rumours were rife this week that the Venkey family had finally run out of patience with boss Steve Kean. The cancelation of a training camp at Rover's Brockholes training ground for the Indian National team - arranged last summer - was taken as a signal of impending change in many quarters. But, Keane remains in place to face a former Rovers favourite in Mark Hughes. Hughes has made a bright start to his tenure at Loftus Rd, but last week's home dfeat to fellow strugglers Wolves has seen QPR slip back into the mire. Rovers were anhilated at Arsenal last weekend, but have played some good stuff in the last month. The suspended Yakubu is back and his goals have made a big difference to Rovers. In contrast the visitors will be without their new £4million striker - Djibril Cisse red carded in that Wolves defeat. Rovers will still be without Christopher Samab though. Blackburn manager Kean expects his wantaway captain to play for the club again although he is injured for Saturday's match with QPR. The 27-year-old defender has not featured since handing in a transfer request in January, which was rejected. The Congo international was critical of the club saying it was "not improving". Kean said: "He trained really well on Monday, he's been around the place but what happened and what was said in the window he can put behind him." Samba was due to play for the reserves on Tuesday but suffered a hamstring injury. Trying to predict the outcome is trappy and we'd rather avoid a choice. Goals look the order and over 2.5 is a 10/11 shot with BET365 Given that Rovers have failed to keep a clean sheet at home all season, and QPR leak goals for fun at the back it seems a fair selection. Bolton v Wigan looks more straight forward to us. As much as we have liked and supported Wigan's style of play under Roberto Martinez we, like many, have come to the conclusion that will not keep them up this time. Bolton seem to have improved in the past two or three games at home. They too are still a poor side but might just use home advantage to get three vital points. With other rivals playing each other a win will be a massive stride in the right direction. Bolton were good enough to beat Liverpool by a clear margin last month and a repeat of anything like that form will make the even money available in odd places a good price.
