I may be wrong about this because I haven't had time to check it out. He has 3 days to appeal. If he appeals as late as possible on Saturday, will he be able to play on that day? Or would that be just too cheeky?!
if he appeals the sentence could be more ! I think he should have been banned for the rest of this one and the next world cup, fined 250, 000 swiss francs, and banned for playing 4 European cup games. Liverpool should not have to suffer............ What happens if a player is sent off in the final of the world cup? are they banned for 3 games or whatever in their home leagues!
The ban is not long enough because he is a persistent offender. But there is a big question mark now. Should the ban only apply to Uruguay international matches and not involve his club? I know that if it was a City player involved in a tournament over which the club have no control, any ban which affected my club would be unsatisfactory. However, that is a point about how to ban him. He obviously has a very severe mental problem and IMO should not be allowed to play professional football until cleared by doctors. Just one final point. Who the hell is Robbie Savage to pontificate? He was a thug on the football pitch with an appalling record of violence toward hi fellow professionals.
He only ever got two red cards once in the prem and once for Wales. I remember seeing Wales v Brazil you had Rivaldo giving it all the swanky football through the team, and then Robbie kicked the **** out of him he was quiet after that, scared to go near Savage
Needs to be taught a lesson that he, and maybe others, will never forget and kicked out of football and should some country decide to give him another chance then they should be removed from FIFA. Don't want to sound too harsh but then you can't legislate against stupidity.
Suarez is a dirtbag. Brendan must be livid but will likely still support him. Immoral to continue to back him as a person.
If he gets a long ban from all football (which he should), I hope Liverpool can sue him for the value of his contract as Chelsea did to that pr1ck Mutu when he took drugs and got banned. Not Liverpool' s fault. What is it with Urugayuan's and eating people it was them in that plane crash in the Andes, they started eating the dead. Good job Suarez wasn't there he wouldn't wait for them to die
Must have read Norman " BITE YOUR LEGS OFF" Hunters BOOK and thought it was ok to have a quick nibble.................rumour has it someone shouted have a quick dribble and he misheard!
If he was innocent he would still be in Brazil to fight his case, no chance on Saturday as he is in Uruguay ..ran home with tail between his legs........ Liverpool could have done amazing things this season I think with him in the team......
Sorry John, but why on earth do you think Liverpool are blameless, and shouldn't suffer? They have contributed to his behaviour by standing up for his actions. From the race related ban with Kenny Dalglish, to Brendan Rodgers condemning the FA's ten match ban as far too severe a punishment! Anyone who sticks up for this man is going to look ridiculous, ultimately embarrassed and known in history to facilitate one of the most chronic names in the sport for a multitude of negative reasons. Lets remember he has had a few good seasons, and is in his prime, but he will not be remembered like the likes of Pele, Maradonna, Messi, Ronaldo, Zidane, because his game over the span of his career doesn't stand out anywhere near as much as those names. He will be remembered for biting, racism, diving and the negative aspects of his gifted talent. For that Liverpool are definitely huge contributors! Liverpool should be punished for his disgusting attitude, because they never did ANYTHING to rectify his abhorrent actions from last time. Four months is a despicable joke, and they should dump him now before they take a huge step backwards after their first foot forward in a verrrrrrry long time, and shame on any club that wants him in their team. Football at the highest level is turning into one of the most evil things on the planet! No purity, no class, no grace anymore.
