I am so angry I could spit!! What is Bates thinking? This gamble to give Redfearn four games was never going to work, any idiot could have seen that. Now even after Redfearn has shown he is incapable, there is still no movement on a new manager. Just ridiculous. And let's add this to the equation - should Redfearn get the job, who will make up his backroom staff?

Does Bates actually understand football, or is he simply taking the piss? He must know he needs to appoint a quality manager with the ability and respect to get us up, someone who will bring with him a top class coaching team. This delay in appointing his manager has had a seriously negative effect on the squad and its showing.

Don't place any store on what a couple of players have said to the propaganda machine that is Yorkshire Radio. What else do you say when asked stupid questions about an interim manager who is the chairman's favourite to get the job? "Thanks for asking, but Redfearn's a muppet who should stay with the juniors". I don't think so. I was really annoyed to hear in the matchday build up how YR were bigging up Redfearn and saying how he would get the job with the right results. Ben Fry and his mates will only say what Bates wants them to.

Bates knows that having his own media outlet allows him to control what comes out of Elland Road, and this means he gets to spin information to suit him. For God's sake, even Lorimer was talking about Redfearn as the next manager!!! I do fear that a win tomorrow and Redfearn gets the job. Bates would surely have had his man lined up and announced by now - if of course he wasn't giving Redfearn a chance to win tomorrow so that he can give him the job with some positive spin.

I really wish Bates would communicate with the supporters. We are in a real crisis stage in our history yet he is in Monaco when surely he should be in Leeds interviewing candidates. There have to be at least three quality applicants on the list worth talking about? Instead he behaves in his usual arrogant, disrespectful manner by publicly trying to belittle Sven when he could have said "look at the experience we are attracting". Bates is becoming an embarrassment for this club, and is doing us no favours.

Bottom line is his Redfearn move has backfired and has probably killed off any chance of promotion now, and we will most certainly feel the ripple effect of this disastrous decision in a few months time when we lose quality players yet again due to this lack of ambition. And spare a thought for those creditors who trusted Bates when he got them to agree to the CVA on the promise of Premier League in five years. They are going to lose payments they are probably relying on and need in these tough times. Shocking behaviour!!!

The sooner Bates leaves, Yorkshire Radio shuts down and Ben Fry follows into obscurity where the bum licker belongs, and we become a properly run club that behaves properly towards its fans the better. This current fiasco is making it really hard to follow Leeds.
