Lets hope this season is better than the last and we actually start to play some football... huge year for gaz as well, he needs to step up and show his potential as a manager

big season for a lot of players - the likes of kretch and ingram playing for big deals in the summer, players which still have the jury out(lewis, morias etc) very much playing for their future and of course bloomfields testimonial season

    please ron <ok>

This for me has seemed the longest summer ever even though we had the world cup to watch.Maybe it was because of the drawn out cr*p from Bristol Rovers board which put a dampener on our celebration of "The great escape". Roll on saturday when our Football League season gets underway and i doubt there's a Wycombe fan who thinks the season will be as bad as the last one.

Interesting league 2 preview on vital http://www.wycombe.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=365360
but there are alot of the final position places I cant go along with
My top 7 in alphabetical order
Burton, Bury, Dons, Luton, Plymouth, Portsmouth and Southend
My bottom 7 in alphabetical order
Cambridge, Cheltenham, Exeter, Hartlepool, Morecambe, Stanley and Stevenage
which should leave us mid table:emoticon-0102-bigsm

I thought it was ridiculous some of the final position predictions. Exeter must be favourites for relegation as they're even more skint than us and are undere a transfer embargo, plus this morning Danny Coles has joined Forest Green. 21st for Wycombe? Have they not nbeen following our transfer activity this summer? Mid table obscurity here we come then Benny will see how far off he was.

Looking forward to Saturday. Not quite sure what to expect. Think we may be tough to break down but I don't think we are going to score too many

That's why i'm thinking it will be a 1-1 draw which wouldn't be a bad result.

I'd settle for a draw away at newport
We haven't been a free flowing, high scornig side for some years now, but i think our defence will prove to be one of the toughest in league 2
