Seeing as there are currently four championship clubs without a manager (us, Palace, Burnley and Blackburn), how can we tempt the best manager that is currently out there?
Why would they want to come to Ipswich as opposed to the other three? Could it be location? If so, that could be slightly in our favour, as you have two northern clubs, and one down south, as opposed to us, who you could say are somewhere in the middle (albeit it out of the way).
Could it be for financial reasons? Again, this just leaves us and Blackburn, as i don't feel neither Palace or Burnley are too flushed with cash.
Then there's the tradition and history. Again, you'd probably have to side with us and Blackburn.
Could it be league position and potential for the season - obviously we'd be bottom of the four choices.
How about the team/squad? - Palace have some good youngsters, Blackburn have a few who played in the prem last season, Burnley have.. Austin. Ipswich? we have an average sqaud, which should, on paper, be good enough to be mid-table mediocricy this season.
Then you come to the sticking point... the owners and chief execs. Unfortunately with dumb and dumber in charge, we could frighten off the best thats out there (whoever he is).

So, in short.. why would a manager come to Ipswich instead of Blackburn, Palace or Burnley? (answers on a postcard please)

    A) they want a challenge
    B) they are not wanted by the others
    C) we can probably offer then better security (look at the what its taken to fire the previous managers, although I do actually agree with the club on this)
    D) We have lovely turnstyles
    E) You will never falll out with the owner - hes non existant
    F) We have patient fans
    G) Our academy is in safe hands which should mean a bit of talent coming through, albeit not in the next year or two.
    H) Our facilities
    I) Suffolk is a lot nicer than london or some grotty northern mill town (thats a generalisation and I have no knowledge that any of them are horrible)
    J) We have the best pub in the country

In terms of facilities and stability we must **** all over the others, Blackburn (must) have some good facilities however Palace and Burnley are both pretty grotty. Palace aren't laden with cash and will probably sell some of their best players at some point in the next 12 months, Burnely like us are financially secure(ish) and Blackburn are a big club but with some strange things going on behind the scenes - similar to us however ours aren't pasted all over the media.
So, every club has it's strengths and negatives - so it completely depends on the manager and what they prioritise in a club..... Hopefully Turnstiles are high up on that list

I have to say one good thing (if it can been seen that way) is the SC and ME appear to give the manager time and money and also autonomy over the team, which is appealling to managers!!

The things that go against us are, league position and the number of loans we have (and without them the lack of strength in depth)!!
