Haha… I wasn't speaking for FOTA. Another reason for my use of fora is that I get a chance to present my own opinion directly! I was consulted in a casual manner (along with many many others) and made my feelings known. I did not expect them to rubber stamp my response alone! - What a shame eh? The world could have been a far better place!

;)

Tell me about it. When they consulted me I went the whole hog with diagrams, photo's...even a powerpoint presentation. But did they listen? Did they 'eck!

Well what illustrious company we are in. The only questionnaires I ever get are: 'was your stay up to expectations?' 'are you happy to recommend this product to friends/family?' 'We wish to ensure your highly valued custom is to continue' - even when I had complained bitterly about something.

I only offer my views and fascinating insight into marketing F1 here - because I know you all hang on to every word.

JA's take on the Fans Forum in Montreal notes why the Ferrari drivers are not allowed to tweet and why McLaren drivers are. Luca Colajanni himself (the guy who told the world Raikkonen would be getting back into his car and racing in Malaysia in 2009 as the big screens showed Raikkonen in shorts eating a Magnum) tells us Briatore coming to Ferrari is bullshit.

Transcript of Session One (Whitmarsh/Boullier). Audio link from JAonF1.

Part one, “The big picture”, will cover the racing, rules, calendar and television coverage. Martin Whitmarsh (McLaren), Ross Brawn (Mercedes), Graeme Lowdon (Virgin) and Robert Fernley (Force India) will answer questions.

The second part will look at the technical changes made in 2011, and will include Paddy Lower (McLaren), James Allison (Renault) and Paul Monaghan (Red Bull).

The final part will involved two drivers, Hamilton and Kamui Kobayashi. Fans will be able to put questions to them. FOTA also said they “will take the opportunity to highlight the initiatives to support Japan”.

If you wish to attend the event, send a question to FOTA via [email protected] along with your contact details including, if applicable, your Twitter account. Tickets are first come, first served.

Did you say Kamui Kobayashi will be there?

Ok so are we sending a rep this time <laugh>

Not606 Agenda:
1. What drivers name sounds most like a farm animal?
2. Does Lewis learn to drive on F1 2010 with damage turned off?
3. Is DC and MB the best commentary team for the bbc?
4. What music do you listen to when you drive?
5. Kobayashi, do you think you will drive for a top team one day?
etc (please add)

8. Kamui, have you been contacted by any of the "top 4 teams" recently regading your future after this season? Yes or No answer will be fine.

9. Lewis, who do you reckon would brake last into a corner, you? or Kamui?

10. Kamui, you also like to be aggressive like the man next to you. What advice would you give him after his last two GP's (Monaco, Canada), Relax more? Try not to do too much? Just carry on?

11. Lewis, how much hot air are you using on the blown diffuser compared to the RB7 percentage wise?

Part One (Racing, Rules, Calendar and TV Coverage)
- If the proposed engine regulations come in in 2013, how do you see F1's relationships with its fans, the auto industry, sponsors and society at large being different to what they are now?

Part Two (2011 Technical Changes)
- What are your opinions on de-restricting KERS and DRS, for example restricting their usage by race rather than lap?

Part Three (Drivers)
- What aspect of driving in F1 gives you the greatest sense of satisfaction?

So is Hamilton sitting in on this to see what the fans think of his driving.

LH: err yes next question.. you at the back with the red baseball cap.

Reporter: Ya Im Niki from RTL. do you think your driving is a bit reckless?

JAonF1 (the host) has featured it and names the three sections The Big Picture, Technical Inspection, and The Drivers.

The reason we ask for a question is so we can tell from the volume of questions, which are the subjects of greatest interest to fans.
