Tyson was the best fighter when he fought (early years), but he has retired now so is not classed in the best fighters now, and I probably wouldnt put him in the top 10 all time fighters either.

Dont get me wrong he was bloody good and explosive in his prime, but far too much baggage and it didnt last all that long either, puts him down the list in all time greats imho.

If Haye had a broken toe but still didn't want to back out, he shouldn't have come out with such disgusting trash talk before the fight. He crossed the line there. Vitali would kill him. He only lost twice in his career, once was against Lennox Lewis and that was only because they couldn't stop his eye bleeding, he was absolutely murdering Lewis.

That was 9 years ago and he was only 2 rounds up on the scorecards and Lewis had his best round in the 6th after which the fight was stopped, Vitali's face was an absolute mess and Lewis was starting to catch him with big shots.

Yes a Vitali in his prime would beat Haye but he's very slow and mechanical now and Haye could jump all over him.

I've met him, handshake like a girl :-D

My favourite boxer of all time but its hard to argue that he's amongst the best ever. I do however think that in his absolute prime he'd have beaten anything put in front of him from.any era

But which big fights has Haye won? Yesterday was a grudge match but in reality a very weak opponent.

There aren't many credible apponents at heavy weight these days. The fact he went the distance with wladimier already rates him amount the better fighters in that division.

I disagree. Half the fighters in the heavyweight division could have done so fighting in the way Haye did. IMO Haye should fight Fury and Price to prove he is Britain's best heavyweight, before he gets another crack at a Klitschko (unlikely I know as he refuses to fight anyone but the Klitschko's).

Wladimier has walked through the majority of his opponents. Haye had his tactics and A broken toe stopped him fighting the fight he wanted. Not many heavy weights have the smaller build and speed of haye, so haye fights to his positives. Tyson fury is useless. He won't fight price because price will murder him. Price is a couple if years away. Haye at the minute will beat both of them. He was after all a heavy weight title holder and undisputed cruiser weight champion. You don't get those accolades by being a ****e fighter.

True. I think Fury is a better fighter than you give him credit for though.

I'm just not convinced with fury me like. He lost his first fight with John McDermott but was award the win. Disgraceful decission. He KO'd him in a rematch like. He might get better with age who knows, but I reckon Price will be dominant once he progresses. Fury is a true heavyweight and could only best chisora on points. Haye embarraced him.

Mormeck to win the cruiserweight title
    Macrinelli to unify the division
Valuev to win the WBA heavyweight title

He's had one bad performance and that was against a huge heavyweight in Wladmir and he just got his tactics wrong and had genuine injury

Wladamirs best name on his record is Haye and is his career defining victory
